We are looking for people to help man the event so if you can help please contact Diane with the time you can do…I’ll put together a spread sheet.

We are also looking for a gazebo that’s easy to erect or comes with an erector!

So …

Knitting club items: All profits to go back to knitting club.

Hedgehogs for Lesley: All profits to Tiggywinkles.

All other produce you would like to bring, knitted items, crafts, cakes, pickles, sweets etc we will do a 50/50. 50% to you and 50% to wi.

You can drop items of at Diane’s, Lizzie’s or Sandra’s.

Please label items with a sticker with your name and price. (It might be useful to let us know the bottom line in terms of price as well.)

If you are happy for all profits to go to Wi Then that’s fine a suggested price would be good.

WI funds are running low as we have had no income via raffles etc and we have made an ongoing commitment to the knitting group.

The lovely tinsel hedgehogs and owls made by our ladies in lockdown would make fabulous Christmas gifts or decorations. The money raised from these sales will go to Tiggywinkles in memory of Lesley Blowfield, one of our ladies who passed away earlier this year. Lesley was a fabulous champion of the hedgehog.

Tiggywinkles is a free wildlife hospital, the busiest and most advanced in the World. Started 40 years ago by the Stocker family in their back garden, Tiggys has treated over 300,000 patients! Utilising the latest technologies, the best veterinary nurses, and Specialist veterinary surgeons, the hospital gives wildlife the best care, treatment, medicine and love available. Their aim is to get everything back to the wild.

The large hedgehog is £8, the medium £6 and £4 for the small one.

Take a look at the other craft items for sale, again made by ladies in lockdown. The proceeds will go to the Wantage WI Charity Knitting Group to buy wool. This group knits items for charities both local and world wide.
