Ladies of the Wantage WI just love to lunch. We have a regular monthly lunch club where a few of us explore the local restaurants, but we also have our “specialty” lunches when we can usually rally a lot of our ladies. The first one of the year is the Saint George’s day lunch which we try to have on Saint George’s day and as you all know that is 23rd April! In October we have a Harvest lunch and a Christmas lunch in December..oh and the charity knitters have an annual Christmas lunch too!

That doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t look forward to many more lunches together even if the leaves are turning golden.

October 2019 ~ The Beetle and Wedge
The Beetle and Wedge did not disappoint. It is a fabulous venue with an excellent lunch menu at such a good price. The day was a cold autumnal day but lovely and bright. Perfect for lunch with a river side view.
