June 10th 2020~The Meeting

Fabulous meeting on Zoom today attended by 33 of you! I am very impressed with you. I was able to record the meeting on Zoom so if you have a Zoom account click on the link below and enter the access password which I have emailed to members. It is case sensitive and needs the exclamation mark. I will try and make recording accessible for those who don’t have a zoom account.. bear with me. Also I turned the recording off whilst we were faffing and forgot to turn it back on so the first couple of slides are missing.

This is Valeria go take a look at what she does!

And there it was, April and May gone in a flash! Rita holding us together with her biweekly quiz, the call circles forging new friendships and the sharing of the funnies and videos all helping to keep our spirits up. March 2020

Our annual meeting was a great success however it was with sadness we said goodbye from the committee to Lyn, who had been our news and views lady and Sue had been our programme Secretary. We also said bye bye to Rita as President. A message from our out going president

I was hoping to speak to you all in person at our next meeting, but that may be a long time coming.

Thank you all so much for my lovely presents and kind messages. The flowers were beautiful and my owl is now happily settled enjoying the sun in my back garden. I will get to John Lewis eventually and find something to buy to keep as a memento of my time as President of Wantage WI. The meeting was really great and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite feeling rather emotional. Photo attached.
